Who’s talking about Poison Noises?
Our new line was just featured in the October 2022 issue of Premier Guitar Magazine!
The JHS Show featured our overdrive, The Crook, on their Best New Pedals of 2021 Episode!
Max Wrote a whole song about our new modulation line!
The Toadies have all sorts of Poison Noises pedals that they love to play through!
“I’m gonna take my OCD I’ve had on my board for 15 years and replace it with this thing , it’s got so much more versatility and I like the low end of it much better”.
— Lincoln Parish (Cage the Elephant)
I love what Jordan & Poison Noises are doing - their Ray Gun phaser is versatile and dynamic and chaotic in a beautiful way. I was looking for something to add a specific and singular color expression to a new song, and it was perfect, wide screen and exactly the right breed of weird. Well-worth your investigation!

“My usual go-to overdrive has just been replaced. The Crook has a very nice bite to it. Balanced and retaining the low end (should you want to run a bass into it, or a sub synth, drum machine, etc) with the option to really push hard on the distortion. Much more so than my previously favorited overdrive pedal. It breaks up perfectly in the mid range and is an absolute must for anyone wanting a high quality and versatile overdrive at their feet!”
— Matt McJunkins (A Perfect Circle/Puscifer)
An email from Matt upon receiving the Spill:
“Dude this pedal is wonderful! So diverse! I made a little clip of my favorite setting so far. The pitch chorus with the octave up with a fair amount of warble and the mix about halfway. It actually sounds like something I always wish was a feature on the Boss Harmonist pedal. There’s a really nice subtle chorus setting on there and of course a bunch of pitch settings but you can’t combine the two. I always love the sound of bass or guitar with that sort of warbly/slightly broken octave up that that pedal achieves so well and this setting does that but with the addition of a very vintage sounding chorus effect. And that’s just one setting! Not sure how you got so much into such small housing but it sounds really nice man. From like way over the top options to really subtle and classic. Kudos to you and thank you for letting me play around and get my hands on something so fun.”
“I just got the new Skipping Stones delay pedal from Poison Noises and it’s really cool. It’s got standard delay along with a bunch of other delay sounds that are combined with a variety of effects. At the beginning of the video you can hear the delay with tremolo, which is perfect for playing the intro to Hands In The Sky(Big Shot). I originally used a delay and tremolo but this has it all in one. You can hear some of the other settings in the rest of the video. It’s pretty amazing how much you can do with just this one pedal and nothing else”.
— John Nolan (Taking Back Sunday/Straylight Run)
Andy Hull has made the Crook one of his go to overdrives on his most recent tour of the Million Masks of God. We were fortunate enough to get to see him use it live, as well as get a few words from him on the matter. Andy told us “It’s my new beef cake distortion…”, and that it “Makes the solos soar. I love it.”
